You may leave a message by placing online order, we will process with the message left on your order. Or you may also send us email for the welding request: info@batterysupports.com , remember to tell us the voltage and the welding request Code that we will not miss any info.

Q1: How to know if my old battery needs replacing?
If your battery is being used over a year with shorten run time and exhausted power. Or can not even give you power on device, it is the time to replace a new battery.

Q2: How to know if my Lithium Power Tool Battery’s chip board is good or not?
Most of the original Power Tools made of good quality battery cells with excellent consistence and balancing. All the battery cells’ voltage should be closed to each other. If any of the cells with big different voltage in the pack, then this cell may be with problem, and all the batteries need to replace (New / old cells can not mix in use). You may use a multimeter to check the voltage of every single battery cell on your old battery pack, if every single cell with voltage reading between 3.6~4.02V and all cells’ voltage close to each other that means all the battery cells are good. Then you could use multimeter to check the chip board's output. In this step, you could connect the chip board onto the battery pack, then check the total output of the chip board with + / - leads, to see if the voltage are the same on chip board with the battery. If it is the same reading, it shows the chip board is good. If the chip board reading different voltage with the batteries, then the chip board is having problem. You need to buy a new battery NOT a replace pack.

Q3: May I use normal Lithium chip board in the market with my Lithium Tool battery if the original chip board is defected?
No, because the original Lithium Power Tool battery chip board is having a code, the normal Lithium chip board in market without decoded will not compatible with the original tools and chargers

Q4: How to replace a Lithium Power Tool Battery?
A Lithium Power Tool Battery with plastic outer shell, built-in chip board, temperature sensor, battery cells, insulation separator etc. The replace battery pack from our store will have welded batteries with the same configuration of the old pack, we will also weld output tabs with same position of the original battery, you may use solder iron to solder the old good chip board onto the new replace battery pack, use your old battery as a guide. Then put back the temperature sensor and other component, cover back the old plastic shell. Then your old battery will have a new life.

Q5: How to replace the Lithium battery on a NICD / NIMH Power tool?
Most of the NICD / NIMH Power tool batteries do not embed with a chip board. If you replace Lithium battery with NICD / NIMH battery, you need to avoid over-charged / over-discharged problem on Lithium battery. Normal Lithium chip board with small current rate can not power up the tools. And high drain Lithium chip boards normally too big to put into the shell. So, If ther’s not a proper Lithium chip board, we advise you to use a Lithium balance charger to charge the Lithium battery pack that will avoid over-charged issue. And to avoid over-discharged, do not exhaust the Lithium battery in use. Once you feel the Lithium battery with fading power. Then stop discharge it immediately and re-charge the battery.

Q6: May I replace just one dead battery cell in the pack and mix new battery cell with the other old good battery cells?
No, When mix a new battery at full capacity and a used battery at a diminished capacity, the high voltage new battery will start charging the low voltage batteries, this will kill the new battery in short time, often permanent. Even if all the new / old batteries charged to the same voltage and seems normal in used, the new battery will not functioning at its maximum potential as the old battery is dragging it down, this will greatly shorten the new battery’s life and will have safety problem. It is a only correct way to replace each and every battery from the same production batch. Full capacity battery with good consistence will maximize battery performance and make a longer run time.

Q7: Can I assemble and discharge the battery pack without BMS?
High Drain Lithium battery needs good balancing and consistence in use to avoid safety problems. A battery BMS monitoring and protecting the battery pack from over-charge / over-discharged this will greatly lower down the danger on battery chemistry. But if you don’t want a BMS on the pack, we advise you to use the new good quality battery cells from the same production batch on assembling to keep balancing and consistence. Do not mix new / old, different brand, fake capacity batteries as this will have potential danger in use. Use a balance charger to charge the battery pack without a BMS. And do not exhausted battery with fading power. Re-charge the battery in time, as long as you use new good battery with excellent consistence and follow the rules in use, its not a problem assembling without a BMS.

Q8: When I receive the battery, should I charge it first?
All the batteries from our store have been tested and charged about 60% power before shipment. When you first receive it, you may fully charge it before use. Or you could also use on your device for short test, if the battery discharge with good performance, then you could re-charge it for use.

Shipping & Delivery

Q1: How quickly will I receive my parcel?
We offer economic registered mail service as well as Express shipping method. All shipments will have tracking number to trace with. If you choose registered mail service, delays may occur on and around holiday seasons. If you choose fast Express shipping, kindly note that Lithium Battery is sensitive for air shipping, it may take longer processing time by Express company.
Orders for batteries shipping to UK, Germany, Italy and Brazil will be only available with Express service as local custom doing strict inspection on importation of batteries by registered mail service.

Q2: Will it have any import tax on arrival?
All parcels will be label with low value to avoid import tax. In most of the case, package will not have any import tax or handling charges. If any custom tariff duties on wholesale orders, buyers will be responsible to pay the import tax.

Q3: How to trace shipment?
Shipments with registered mail service could trace on http://www.17track.net/index_en.shtml , shipments with Express service could be traced from the selected express website (Fedex / DHL / TNT / UPS / EMS ). Q4: What should I do if my parcel get lost?
If the parcel get lost during transportation, you may contact us for replacement or refund. Our service team will help to you check out parcel status and compensate for your lost.

Q1: Is my product guaranteed?
We only sell with Brand-new A grade products, every item being strictly tested on professional equipment before shipment. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase you may return it within 30 days for a full refund of the purchase price, or credit or replacement. Please make sure you are using the correct charger and correct parameter in use. We do not responsible for quality problem caused by incorrect use, using wrong charger, refitting, or re-welding.

Q2: What should I do if the item is defected on arrival?
Since every item will be strictly tested before shipment, if you receive an item that not working on arrival, you may need to help for sending us more details, defected information like battery voltage, charging & discharging status, pictures…are necessary in finding out the problem. Please trust us, we are happy to work with you in solving the problem.

Q3: What is required to return the products?
Within the 30 days of your purchase, you can return the products to us for a refund. You may make a mark on the item, such as a signature on battery label or item body, when we received it we will do the testing and will also send you the picture of test result. With your signature on the item, it will be easily showing the item status. You may go to the nearest post office and ship back by registered mail service, it will show the return shipping cost on the airway bill, if we test the return item with quality problem, we will pay you back the returned shipping. You may write with a "Returned" item with value under $10.00 on parcel and you may also send us a tracking number so that we could trace and being notification with shipment status. Kindly note that, if the test result shows item is in good quality, you will only receive a refund for the item purchase price.
